Murder Mystery Series no. 5

The murder mystery series are five separate drawings that tell part of a story for the viewer to continue with their own imagination. The formal setting of still life studies are in charcoal on archival paper. The books in the illustrations are real library books that have titles that suggest the investigator’s mind.

I thoroughly enjoyed drawing these and added a little bit of dark humor in the titles of the books and the drama of the spilled glass of sherry.
The series was inspired from listening to multitudes of audiobook murder mysteries stories.
